Bubble Tripods
The Project is a limited edition of interactive multimedia video and art installation displays, collectively the ‘Mirror/Africa Bubble Tripods’.
The Tripods bring an interactive video experience to public spaces and specialty retail customers. Customized clothing tags/objects will be attached to garments and/or relative merchandise. One scans a tag/object to the Work and a short video poem relative to Africa will be presented on the custom glass (a mirrored reflection). People will be entertained while experiencing the materials, labor, and social environment that culminated along the African supply chain.
Each interactive work(s) can hold hours of customized video clips, graphics, and data that appear when activated/triggered upon RFID (Radio-frequency Identification) Which is the use of an object (typically referred to as an RFID tag) applied to or integrated into a product, animal, or person for the purpose of identification and tracking using radio waves. As new smart phones hook in to near field technology, these works can be activated by smart phones as well.
Bubble Tripod interactive works consists of customized Glass, Acrylic, Bamboo, RFID, HDV Video, Sound, Computer, LCD.
